Here's the Camo M-16 Helmet I promised pics of. It's a beauty. It still has splotches of mud on the uncleaned exterior. The camo paint is in incredible condition, showing only light scratches & storage age. German soldier's name penciled inside. Hopefully someone can read the handwriting. I stumbled onto it this past weekend. Hope everyone enjoys!

All the Best,

Alan Schaefer

What a super beauty! This reminds me of the song "whish you were here" by Pink Floyd...

Alan, Very nice! It is REALLY rare to find these helmets in complete condition with chinstrap and even liner tie! Whether to clean it or not is a dilema. If it is mud is from a battlefield in Europe, then it might be best to leave it. On the otherhand if it is dirty from careless handling or suburban backyard war games, then you might want to clean it. The trouble is you probably don't know which is the case. At any rate, a "top-shelf" find.
