Hi All,

Hi Otto:

Though I doubt any PLM scholar would agree with me, I believe this is a private purchase piece from the 1930s. This 1938 photo of Reichsmarschall Göring displays the same pattern.

Mind you, there are many modern fakes that are virtually identical to the eBay listing. The link below will prove the point.

However, there is a simple way to distinguish fake from "original." Look at the eagle at the 8:00 o'clock postion. On every modern copy I have seen, this eagle has no feathers on its legs. The eagle on period pieces does.

Hi Otto:

The bidding has reached $11,600.00 and the reserve has not been met!!! The high bidder, "tailgatejeff" has a feedback record of three and has been registered with eBay for four years.

I smell another eBay rotten egg shill bidder.

Unglaublich!

Chas. :x

Hey Chas and Otto, the underbidder is the same, 4 feed back, with no activity in the past year. One can not tell what these people have bid on as their last purchase was too long ago.

Hi Gus:

The bidder after "acp7686" isn't much better. "jtr13138vxa" most recently purchased two Ford tractor water pumps.

Eclectic interests or shill bidder? You decide.

Chas.

Hi Charles and Gus,
Be not so severe and ironic. Perhaps the man of the tractor has always dreamed in plowing his lands carrying a Blue Max in his neck  .
