Königin Elisabeth Garde-Grenadier-Regt. Nr.3 (Charlottenburg) was allocated the shoulder strap cypher on 18 Oct 1861. Plus they wore Brandenburg cuffs.

So the blank shoulder strap + Swedish cuffs leaves 3. Garde-Regt. zu Fuß (Berlin)

Very nice, a "Reservisten" card that includes war-time service, certainly not that common.

Thank you for that guys still not that good on uniforms, photograph was part of box of assorted bits I bought becuase I wanted a war atlas, it also came with a letter opener milled from a large piece of British or French shrapnel. The seller said it was a quartz handled letter opener! It opens letters and parcels as it was designed to. The joy of prowling late night auctions
