Here’s an example I pulled out of a case when rearranging my collection. It may be the first officer’s haube I purchased years ago and form a forum member.
It has some damage and a missing “star” stud. It also has a short spike that is removable.

such a short tip shows an M67/71 or early 71 officer's helmet. The liner should be of the Alter Art "0fficier" model, i.e. in black guilloche basane, with square teeth and a double hole for the adjustment lace.
