yes, there are a lot of leather trimmed fakes that came out of the UK in the 70's, and whenever you see a leather trimmed version you should use good judgement.

However, this one is no doubt the real deal, and one of the rarest pieces I have seen in awhile.

I am normally pretty good at picking good covers from bad, but this one has me going both ways. Passes Black Light test, I know this is not exact science, but part of the testing. Here is the CDV that came with the helmet that is supposedly Mr. Weber... Interesting the seller of the helmet at the SOS, stated he got the helmet, plume and CDV all together from a storage locker sale, who knows could be true. Either way I am happy with the helmet and can hardly wait to get it bac...
