Re: JR 73 Officer's Helmet

Thanks Brian. That’s very helpful. It seems to depend on who processes the parcel over here. Sometimes they do take note of the label stating the contents are antique or from WW1 (which should mean no customs charge and reduced VAT) but not always. Great work - you appear to be our nearest (only?) ...

Re: Prussian Pioneer Ersatz Felt Helme

Alex- interesting helmet, I like it and think it looks good. I have been looking at a lot of these helmets in this auction for the last week, trying to justify pricing, and as you stated the extra 29% commission kills it for me, many of the starting prices are already high etc. IMO. Some nice helmet...

Argentine Officers helmet

Was lucky enough to just get this nice Argentine officers pickelhaube, appears to be German made and old. Not my main interest, but a very cool helmet. May or may not keep it? Re: Help needed

Sorry to hear Amy, hopefully someone can help you out.

It is interesting, I see more and more German sellers that will only ship to Germany, yet, those same sellers bid on my stuff in USA all the time...

It is frustrating, especially when you see something you really want.
