Great helmet!!!!

I have to admit that i like seeing these older helmets, but that i know nothing about them. In the past i've owned some of those older helmets but they were exchanged quickly for some ww1 helmets which fitted my collection.

Permit for Belgian soldier in kriegsgefangenenlager Soltau

Here is a little find from a few weeks ago. It's a permit given to a Belgian soldier to go from 1 part of the lager to another part without any armed guard. It might be just a little piece of paper and not in the best condition but i can't imagine there were alot of these given to prisoners of war. ...

The Belgian stuff has become so rare and sought after, that most pieces just dont come on the market. You barely see uniforms like this on a militaria show. Last tunic i saw for sale on a militaria fair was priced higher then the german ww1 feldrock next to it.

These uniforms are also rare in Belgium and they're very sought after. Luckily for me i own a few tunics are trousers, because now it would be almost impossible to collect these. In the 70's and 80's it was alot different, in those days nobody wanted to collect Belgian militaria. Maybe alot of stuff...
