Re: liner rivet question

I would say they are not all fake.
It is hard to say, perhaps comparing the size (In mm/In)
I saw also original round ended liner pins on hemets which were not faked. :D

Re: camou helmet

Well, IF it is a restored one, it is (my opinio  ) really good done. I also think that the front liner pins are perhaps replacements (not the one behind). It can also be a reparation from the 20's. The leather pads are looking good, and for me, the paint is also looking OK. I saw the same kind...

Re: German Camouflage Stahlhelm M1916 with Totenkopf

All what is in Latvia is not fake, but it is mostly restored, like the firt helmet.
The seller said:" It has been restored to a Freikorps Skull Helmet." so there are no doubt.
The Shell is good, the rest is good restored but not original.

Ja, it was too good looking.. :)

Re: An M17 directly from heaven...

Beautifull Item! :D

I saw some like that in some Militarie's exchange, but mostly, the buyers were skeptical because of the way
the camo was made. Camo for a Stahlhelm collector is mostly meaning 'Turtle' Camo.. I'll know now that it is existing! Thanks

Re: MG08/15

Really great item! =D> =D> =D>

Before two years, I had the chance to see an original one in France ( Meuse Departement) digged out by Workers on the side of a street. Rusty and without stock, but it is allways crazy to see such Item.
Yours is absolutly beautifull!

Hello Everybody

Hi everybody, I'm Julian, living in Germany and got a lot of helmets (1rst and 2nd World War ) from my grand Father.
Instead of selling them, I prefer to keep them, it's a part of history :D

Hope to participate efficiently to this forum ( And hope you will excuse my poor English :o )

Thanks
