I agree with Sandy, the star lacks a lot of detailing which should be on an original.
The helmet might be original, but looks to be made to look like an Oldenburg one.
I'd pass on it too.

Thanks Bob, it display's really well. Everything on the Tschapka is in good order, the helmet itself has no issues. So no deformations of the piece itself. Only the liner is missing, but like you said, you would only know if you picked it up and looked inside. I guess I had a good deal on it, paid 7...
