Did you guy's have Leopard tanks in Canada Tony? I never knew that. One of my best friends assemled the Turrets for those in the early 80's. When I was in the service here in the Netherlands I fired the FN Mag too, it was great. Also fired it from the hip, but being a skinny guy that wasn't easy, on...

Thanks Bob, it display's really well. Everything on the Tschapka is in good order, the helmet itself has no issues. So no deformations of the piece itself. Only the liner is missing, but like you said, you would only know if you picked it up and looked inside. I guess I had a good deal on it, paid 7...

Well John, It is interesting to know that in those day's they had to buy they're own uniforms, just like you did. Here, everything is supplied by the government, but you can buy extra quality uniforms at ones own cost. Better fitting and better quality, but I never had to, I was only a sergeant. I s...

Thanks John, I look every wednesday at his updates! Yesterday, when his updates were online at 18:00 as usual I was looking and saw a nice original M15 strap for a haube at only 100 euro. Dirt cheap, but I chose to look at the other pages, but when I returned to that strap it had already sold, in on...

Thanks Sandy! :) I will be on the look out for a Tschapka, a shoddy one with a good liner. If I find it, who knows... No problem Brian, I will check it out in the restoration section here! The Tschapka does look great, only thing with it, is that it has no liner. I agree with all above. Cancel the sale, as said, the fittings should be gray, not polished or chromed. It might be an original piece, as the shell looks correct and is named, but the polishing/chroming make its value go down a lot. If, as you said the seller agrees with cancelling I would do that, ...
