The neighbors have been taking up a collection so I can buy enough gas to get me to Kentucky, I guess I will have to irritate enough people there to get enough gas to get back. Nice helmet!!! A great job on the restoration of the liner. What did you use for the repair? I have used rubber cement and cheese cloth.

Chin strap looks original and in very good condition. :thumb up: The helmet needs to be humidified and blocked back into shape. The pictures aren't very helpful because they don't show detailed shots of the liner pins, leather pads and other details. To me the camo paint looks artificially aged and scratched up. Keep in mind this unit was a Baggage/Supply Unit not Train as in Choo-Choo. I have two one Tr B 8-1915 and a TB 8-1901.
This was explained to by people here awhile back. LOL

Gus- When a farmer complains of the restrooms you know they are bad, and I tend to agree. Like Joe and the rest of us, I'll walk WAY, WAY down the hall. I agree about the food at SOS being bad, and here is where the MAX Show actually has it a little better as there are plenty of restaurants not too...
