They are the same barrel, identical. just check the 'front end' for the 08/15 for a screw on cap, which comes off.

Can you tell me if all of them have maker marks or stamping on them? Or are any of them unmarked? I don't really know much about them and wondered how you could tell a real one from a fake one. Long story short, I was able to help a family whose grandfather had been awarded the EK I and II during WWI but had them revoked by the Nazis. The profiles of the shells themselves are the first indicators of fakery. The patination on the EM spike and base NEVER occur on originals. The ill-fitting liners are the next indicators. Then the small bits - sorta close but not right.
