Morphy Auctions merges with James Julia Auctions

Post by LangeKerl » Mon Jan 01, 2018 11:31 pm

This news is a few weeks old, but I thought I would pass it on;

https://www.morphyauctions.com/stunning ... julia-inc/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I do work for Morphy's when they need me, so I can attest to the first class quality of their operation, as well as their staff.

To me this merger is great news for the militaria/ firearms collecting community.

This is good news. Both are first class auction companies.

Here is an interesting article which claims that handguns etc. sold for a small amounts at various auctions magically show up at James Julia as being picked up by "Running Long Balls" or whatever at Custer's Last Stand etc. with fabricated provenance.

RIA and JJ have always been serious competitors.
