Eiserner Halbmond - Gallipoli Star

Post by ww1czechlegion » Mon Dec 15, 2014 8:26 pm

Last summer I acquired my first "Eiserner Halbmond" or Gallipoli Star.

This is a private purchase piece, most likely made in Germany or Austria. Unknown maker mark of an "iron cross" type of stamping mark on the pin.

Best Regards,

Alan

Always liked those a lot. Don't know anything about medals. :thumb up:

the facts that are interesting in history, but the questions and their
answers - and these can never be fixed.
