Abbreviations in German-Military (from 1943)

Post by Sandmann » Sun May 27, 2018 1:59 pm

Hello all,
maybe this is informative for some more peoples.... :)
Looking for „H.Dv. 123A (Herresdienstvorschrift)“ I found this Document, which has been made by US-Military in 1943 and is a list of abbreviations used in german Military. I think the most abbreviations should be also valid for the imperial time.

By the way...I didn‘t found H.Dv. 123A until know and would be happy if anybody could give me some informations out of it. I‘d like to know the correct style of Wehrmacht Officer-Portepees, because I can’t see the difference between WW1 and WW2. In the Net I found no clear informations about this topic and I don‘t know a good book. I’m grateful for every Tipp :)
Best wishes, Sandy
