Hello form Italy

Post by Il diavolo verde » Thu Jun 12, 2014 12:25 pm

Hi all, I'm Alessio "Il diavolo verde" (green devil) from Italy!

I'm a collector of ww1 german stuff, especially steel helmets and, obviously, pickelhaube \:D/ !

I fell in love collecting military more than 10 years ago when I visited for the first time Cassino, also called the Verdun of ww2 but my affection for the Great war soon jumped out
Now I'm a staff member on "Miles, the italian forum for military collectors".
I love to study and collect imperial army helmets and equipment and I'm one of the very very few ww1 german reenactors in my country.
This is a picture of me on a recent event (JR 52):

I hope to share and learn a lot on these pages :thumb up: .

Sorry for the very very late answer. I've choosen JR 52 because It's one of the Regiments which fought in Italy during in 1917 with austrian troops.

Yes, I have an excellent uberzug (green numbers) and some fotos of JR 52 soldaten wearing theirs. I would love to get a helmet with JR 52 markings to go with those pieces. I believe there is a foto in the uberzug thread.
