I just received my copy of The History of the Russian Steel Helmet 1915-45 by Ivan Karabanov. Ivan and his wife are regular attendees of Show of Show and he has become one of the more serious WWI-WWII combat helmet collectors.
He has done for the Russian helmet what Chris Armold and Ken N have respectively done for American and German helmets.
