It looks fine by me. Even the markings are correct for Train Batallion 13, which was a Wurttemberg unit.
Shame about the missing kokarden, but those can be found.

I'd go for it, if I were you, price is good for a helmet like this.

Okay James thinks it's a copy as well. Glad I didn't buy it. Anyone have a real one?

If it was Baden, and made of brass, that would be typical to see. I've never seen a Wurttemburg kokarde made from brass.

I have an extra one in very nice condition. I can send you pics if you'd like, and a price, via private message here. It came from a part of a large grouping of assorted kokardes I purchased 2 or 3 years ago, that a WW1 US Doughboy brought home. I was able to buy 1/3 of the kokardes on the sale, and kept some assorted extras for myself.

The shiny areas are from light reflection from the lamp used when shooting the pics.

The back side has some paint wear, and light surface oxidation, as seen in photos.

Here's a shot of the front of the Kokarde after I took a damp tissue and wiped the dirt residue from the white ring. It looks like there is some wear or residue at the 10 o'clock area on the white ring. Otherwise there's some small chips to the enamel paint.
