There are about ten manufactures here in India that offer bulk rates on these, other and various kind of haulbes and repro parts. They mainly started as brass wares dealers and makers of "antique" telescope and wall barometers. Like so many others they have just diverged their business. But...

I know the companies that make these. They all come out of northern india. I find it strange that they have enough of a market to continue the production. Surely re enactors would not run around with these on their heads? Or, for that, there could not be that many people who want to place one on...
