Nice complete WW1 Field Grey tunic to the 1st Bavarian Engineers, complete with all insignia, it is however faded to the front, with a small amount of wear/moth to the back of the cuff, no name but tailors name inside, happy to supply more photos, this is a rare piece, never seen...

Consensus from others is 1920,s Gendarmerie

The consensus from those in the know is a re-worked WW1 Bergmutze for the Bavarian border police circa 1920.

Recent purchase, Mecklenburg-Schwerin cockade, what appears to be orange piping but could be faded red, green feld-grau cloth......Gendarmerie?

Interesting I have a similar Schirmmütze with an old label "Jager Bl Nr14" (extra red piping aside)
