Very interesting document. Thanks for sharing. I think the Fokker D.VII seen at the bottom left of the second image from the catalog of the Canadian War Trophies is today in the Canada Aviation & Space Museum (see the images below).

Hi, Here is a photo I acquired several years ago from the Gentleman George Anderson. These are, as the post title indicates, cavaliers from the "Kgl. Bayer. 8. Chevaulegers-Regt." (Dillingen) I Bayerisches Armee Korps in 1915.

Philippe, I know there are two schools of thought about this subject. I have always kept my helmets in their original condition, just removing the dust; apart from one exception for a French Dragoon helmet where I had to treat the leather of a chinstrap which risked splitting because it was too...
