The guy I got it from states all regiments have gardes, how can you tell JR15 doesnt have gardes?

Thanks everyone for their comments. The guy who sold this has 80 pickelhaubes, this one was in my opinion the nicest he had for sale but with the risk of it being a composite I rather have one who is less nice but original. So I will be returning it today and buy a more original one. I will...

Hello all, I bought my first pickelhaube, I was told this is for NCO Officiers but some research says there should be stars holding the spike base? Any help with info and prices is greatly appreciated!
