Thank you sir :) I think I will keep it for now. I have only had it for about 5 hours, but I find it to be a beautiful piece and am already becoming attached to it lol. I can certainly see the attraction that collectors have to these. :)
Also, thank you guys for the help! I had figured out it was Bavarian, but I only knew the machine screws=bad when determining whether it was real or not. That was my only knowledge of determining authenticity.
They are asking $285. I'm a military collector, but primarily WWII, so it does take it down a notch not being war issue or even military. I may would still buy it if I get a good price and could potentially trade it off for something more in my line.
