I've picked up an interesting card a while ago and I noticed they have a small shield-shaped insignia on their sleeve. Does anyone have a clue on the unit/the meaning of the patch? There are no shoulder straps to help us out.

I've got a similar picture and it indeed looks like a communication outfit attached to a normal regiment.
