I am sorry, my sister has the helmet. She sent me these 2 pictures, but when I zoom in on them, I do not see any obvious marks.

These are the marks on the helmet. The 2 larger stamps are on the neckguard strap underneath the strap. I attached some pictures of the marks. My sister has the helmet and was afraid to move the leather strap too much.

I don’t think mine looks like that. It doesn’t have the spike but the braided comb and the stars are different. I did see somewhere that French generals sometimes had stars on their dragoon helmet. Thank you though. Just looked up some Hussard images and found some similar. Thanks again.

Curious if anyone has ever seen an early dragoon helmet with a star logo on front? It was brought home from France during WW2 time.
