Very nice Jan. Tonight I will toast the little goat of 2. Escadron.

As you know, Imperial Totenkopf of the Leib-Husaren and Braunschweig as worn on headgear do not have a lower jaw. However, for some unknown reason, Totenkopf on printed unit photographs (like this one), Regimental newspapers, Regimental histories, books, and other paper documents very often have a lower jaw. A very peculiar and interesting anomaly.

This is incredible! This is the first photo I've ever seen of my great, great grandfather Heinrich Mahlmann. Do you still have this framed photo? Is there any way you'd be willing to take a close and clear image of him? He is Wachtmeister Mahlmann on the bottom right side of the photo. Wachtmeister Mahlmann.png
