Here's a weird situation that was shared with me - wondering if anyone else has seen this. An otherwise high-end looking Prussian officer helmet, but without a ventilation hole beneath the spike. It's something I've not seen before, but curious if anyone else has. And if it is a legit variation, I am wondering what the rationale is (didn't want a chilly head from the Prussian breeze?).
