Dear Colleagues,
can you tell me, in the 2 and 7 Landwehr brigade, what was the color of the underlay on the officers' shoulder straps?

I guess that you are asking about pre war ? Maybe that answer would be in Mike Kelso's book ?
M1915 I would think that like all Infantry they went to white

Thank you, Steve! Yes, of course, before WW1. I got it. The color of the shoulder straps in the Landwehr brigades is the same as in the Landwehr offices (Landwehr-Inspection) to whom they obeyed . The officers of Landwehr brigades have white numbers on their shoulder straps. To develop the topic, I am attaching the shoulder strap of the Landwehr officer of Insterburg Inspection from my collection.
I`ll be looking which Landwehr inspection included the 2nd and 7th brigades.

The 2nd was attached to LI Insterburg (I. Army-Cops), the 7th most likely to LI Bromberg (II. Army-Cops).
As the Infantry-Regiments and Landwehr-Bezirke of both Corps wore white shoulder straps I suppose the underlay piping was also white.
