Regt. der Gardes du Corps (Potsdam) or Kürassier-Regt. von Driesen ?

Hi to everyone,
I would like to have infos about this Feldmütze.......
I tried to find out more about the maker but ,on the web, I didn't find nothing.....
Is it possible, from these pics, to understand if GdC or KR?

I have never know for sure how to tell G d C from K R 4
Maybe a member knows ?

The Berlin seller would suggest GdC, but it's not a sure thing.

I agree with Bob. The Berlin label makes me favor GdC. The colors for both regiments are identical - usually the only way to take an educated guess is by the maker/seller (if there is one) or an ID on the original owner. A lovely cap, either way. Both are plenty rare.

Same challenge Michiel - except in felgrau it could also be for HR3 von Zieten! Beautiful cap - and great picture of your son(?)! Steve's suggestion is a good one.

There was a Kürassier Fritz Schlüter in the Regiment Nr.4, but enlisted men.

That is interesting, enlisted men generally wore tellermutze (dunkelblau period), or kratchen ( later, feldgrau period) but they could also wear schirmmutzen without officer kokarde, so maybe it is fritz schluter and someone changed the kokardes later on? ( they seem period to the mutze),

By the way this is my metal helmet cavalry shelf with two tellermutzes and two schirmmutzen of the GDC, and the garde kurrassier regiment
