Generalstab Pickelhaube

Congrats

That’s a real beauty. I have one but it’s a bit tarnished, etc. I really need to wipe it down…

IMO this is a la suite General
Interesting question, this - from all the references I've seen, the helmets are identical (like gilt Prussian Generals and War Ministry helmets). In the Verlag Militaria books on the German Generals and the recent one on the Adjutants and Household Troops, the description and examples seem to be the same (General à la Suite/Generalstab) unless I am missing something. Short of being ID'ed, could be both right?

I think General Staff wore gilt stars to secure the crucifix while flugeladjutant wore silver stars. General à la suite still confuses me but maybe their helmet was the same as flugeladjutant for Prussian.

I think war ministry and generals wore the same helmet.
