Yes, Brian.Awesome condition! Is this perhaps a vulcan fibre helmet? The condition of the shell suggests that to me.

Beautiful Prussian officer’s helmet.
Regarding the star and insignia of these states, it is appropriate to be very meticulous and suspicious. It is absolutely essential to examine the reverse side of the central silver plate. Electroplating is difficult for an untrained eye to detect. I notice some imperfections, which is surprising for an officer plate.
The very lucrative trick involves buying 'cheap', a beautiful and good helmet of a Prussian officer, running, and exchanging the Prussian eagle with an eagle 'Fuerst' and its extremely rare badge and star in the center... but these are plating fakes. Then we resell the helmet 3 times the cost price.
