Right?! The last one is the hardest bit, IMO. I've not seen many unquestionably legit Chaplains in the wild. One of the many overlooked areas in both references and collections.

I hope everyone is doing good I am going to take better pictures outdoors after multiple requests in the following weeks and post them hereRight?! The last one is the hardest bit, IMO. I'm a visual guy, so in the spirit of "I swear I'm not crazy" this is why this one is giving me a headache. Not perfect lighting, but aimed to take similar slices of the various examples supplied by Charles and Tony of Train, and (from the previously linked forum) from the German Historical Museum and HH of what seem like solid Chaplains. The current example is in the middle. The Train caps shown here are indisputably blue - but this guy seems to almost be a blend of both, skewing to purple. I agree with Charles - a pic or two in daylight would be great!
