An excellent helmet Tony! Your display of them, all Hesse items, looks fabulous too!
At the moment I only have an M15 haube from Hessen, but still looking for an M1895 example, to make the pair complete.

Indeed a rare one, with its Hanseatic kokarde, I have a Prussian M15 enlisted helmet, with the Hanseatic kokarde. IR 162 from Lübeck.
