From my father's collection a WW2 bring back
Officers model 1910
Chat gpt is telling me it should have a metal totenkopf device.
Can anyone direct me to a museum example?

That is a beautiful example you've got..
Totally correct, text book item ....never worn with any totenkopf device or what so ever...

Mine is the same type only lower quality

Thank you fellows My dad was in the US army in ww2 in Berlin and traded cigars and chocolates. His story was it was looted from a city of Danzig church by Russians.
They had all manner of looted goods it was rather a free for all.
There are about 40 different relics in the boxes.
I'll post up as I unpack.
