Got set up today and had a great time, show runs tonight and Saturday and Sunday. Smaller show, but some good friends here and actually selling has gone well so far! Lots of Third Reich, but some Imperial.

Forum member Alan S. is set up and in one of the pics.

Unfortunately this show clashed with the long running Wichita, KS Military Collector's Club show. I went last year and did OK but how did you do at this show?

I did well buying Imperial German goodies at the Wichita show. I picked up a very nice Bavarian M.89 steel hilt NCO sword with an etched quill (round) back blade that also had the armorer removed second ring on the nickeled scabbard. I got a Kar. sling I could use and a "K.K. Post u. Polizei Revolver" designed by Gasser. Think of a small size Rast-Gasser M1885 six shot revolver that is very rare. Unfortunately the owner knew what the revolver was and priced it accordingly. I paid up and I am happy that I did.

Show was good for selling, I sold 5 pickelhaubes and various other items. Not much Imperial to buy, I did pick up a nice Bavarian Sword sash/belt. and a set of French Kuirassier shoulder epaulets.

No helmets to buy, but did have two people stop by and say they had some at home and got their info, so will see what they end up having!

You've done well James..
I'm already surching 5 years for original French Kurassier shoulder epaulets...( with the long fringes)...they are very hard to get over here... ☹️
