Chimay Blue is 10.5 I believe, one of the classic Belgian Trappist strong ales.

That's a good Bier for lent; it's more like liquid bread.
Very good for fasting.
Being a good Mennonite I do not know what lent is but if it means you can drink more Chimay then I’m all for it!

Belgium is the place to be for good beer and a box of fries with mayonnaise, that's the best.In Italy, they do a Chianti and pasta cleanse. In Belgium, a beer and fries cleanse.

I'm also partial to Orval and Westmalle...both super hard to find, especially in our weird state of Pennsylvania.

Don't forget the Fries with Stoofvlees, the Belgians make that the best way! Simply excellent!

We spent some time in Belgium a few years ago and really enjoyed it.
I loved the Fries with Stoofvlees so when we came home my wife made some fries and put some Dinty Moore beef stew on top and I have to say it was very good.
So, if anyone is looking for a cheap and easy substitue give it a try. After a few Belgian Beers you won't know the difference.

And farting! Been to Bruuggge and Brussxxelleess a few times I just stick to Stella lol! if I were to have a Chimay Blue I would fall of my bike into the canal!That's a good Bier for lent; it's more like liquid bread.
