Some helmets for sale… SOLD!

Hey folks, I’m currently moving my business to a new large hall, and renovation works are underway (that means lots of money getting spent…) I’ve sold off some other pieces from my collection but I am now down to tough decisions.

I have several pickelhaubes (some posted here previously) and would like to move them on to other collectors, that way they find a new home and I can pay off the renovation costs!!

Here’s the first one, a lovely unit marked artillery model. Lovely condition. Been posted here in the past and got some good comments.

Price is 1000€ shipped! PayPal accepted or possibly even bank transfer if that works!

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I can provide any photos, proof of ownership… etc etc etc.

****UPDATE****

I was the purchaser of this helmet and made full payment via PayPal on April 9th.

As of April 21st I have not received the helmet or the tracking number.

As of today...I have not received a tracking number, the helmet, or further communication as to why a tracking number has not been provided. He has another pickelhaube listed in the for sale section - HAS TO GO TODAY! FINAL PRICE!

I make this post to inform others who may be thinking about purchasing from RossBossMA.

I will update this post as soon as I receive a tracking number and/or the helmet.

Hope to provide a positive update soon.

Please keep us advised Dan. There have been issues with Conor before and he was basically given a second chance after an exchange of emails with me. PM me if you wish. The Madrid Show was April 18-19 . Regards, Brian Loree Admin./ Forum Owner.
 
Yes sir! You won’t find trouble. I am back from the fair and just unpacked today at the new place I’m redoing, they just finished the epoxy floor. It’s going to look awesome.

Haven’t been in my office (in Madrid) yet, hopefully Friday! He will be first to know, but his package is long out! 🙌🏻

And still no tracking number (proof of shipment)...only a photo of a moving truck with some furniture, some tubs, a ladder, plastic water bottles and now a qualified “hopefully Friday!” assertion that you might provide a tracking number when you get back to your office. Good to hear that I will be the first to know in that you said you would provide me the tracking number last week when the helmet was shipped and then again when you said you would provide me the tracking number first thing Tuesday morning (this morning).

But not to worry...the package is long out. In that case it should be delivered to my door soon and everything will be good.

Is it just me...does it feel like I am being strung along? I really hope that is not what is happening here.

I will let you know (and everyone else on this forum) when the helmet is delivered....

P.S. Thank-you Brian for inserting yourself into this on my behalf.

No tracking number. No helmet. No further communication with

Let us hope that this Spanish gentleman is honest; if not, that’s not possible for me here.

I have unfortunately dealt with this seller before and have warned the moderators here and some members about his shady business practices, he will typically not mail an item unless his arm is twisted, I had to call him out on a public forum (the catch can on facebook) and numerous people had reached out to me with similar issues. He always has some excuse as to why he cannot ship or will lie and say there was some unforseen issue, he will keep close contact until he has all of your money, then disappear and actively ignore any attempts at contact and avoid responsibility. Hopefully you are able to get your item eventually and then the moderators here ban him from this forum, I figured it was only a matter of time before this happened. I did eventually get my item however it took 3 months after I completed payments for it to arrive and when it did arrive the date on the customs paperwork was a month after he said he had put it in the mail, which was also the second time that he had told me he mailed it.

So am I, I bought many helmets from forum members, never had any issue what so ever, alway's correct, perfect buy's.
I geuss, since this guy was banned before, he was already quite not our kind of guy. Second chances are fine, but not with this type.
