Dear friends, here are some photos of the helmet being offered. Unfortunately, there is a dent in the back. How can I get rid of it or let it go? The price is 1700 dollars. I am unsure what to do.

The metal is split which is a bit of an issue though not the end of the world. When you resell it that will be pointed out and people will want a discount. So that is what you have to do. Rob
 
It would require laser welding, then surfacing to make it invisible. That seems complicated to me. As I said, it's best to leave it as is.
