WW1 Officers Pickelhaube Cover

This is the first one that I’ve added to my collection a couple of years ago. I find them interesting as they are essentially the first official form of camo used by the German army during WW1.

I believe I owned that one for awhile from that auction, sadly gone now. That auction was a blast!

Life is full of regrets! If you recall who bought it maybe I can make them an offer that they cannot refuse as they used to say in the Godfather lol!
 
It sold through the Guild. Back in 2014-15.

I bought it from a dealer from Quebec City (Andre Genest) at one of the Lower Canada Arms Collectors Shows at the armoury of the Royal Montreal Regiment probably 35 years ago. Those were great days in retrospect.
