

That little pickelhaube in the photo is also nice; I've been looking for one of those for quite some time too.I either put a strong thread across the posts or loops on the back and hang them on a small screw or put them on little stands like you do.
If you want to frame them I would suggest a shadow box so you do not have to flatten them and then do something with the strong thread and pins (if the shadow box back has material, which a lot do).

I believe a grouping with 3 of these small Pickelhauben were sold at the auction in Waver last month. The price didn't went that high either if I recall correctly.That little pickelhaube in the photo is also nice; I've been looking for one of those for quite some time too.
Justin here is the link to the flat display trays I made using automobile upholstery fabric. Link HERETony has by far the best thing I’ve ever seen for displaying wappen’s. Pull out drawers which are essentially giant trays.
