Well it looks old and the right style, I just dont like the markings but I am no expert. Perhaps all sorts of nations used this style and the German version is of course worth a lot more than say French or Bulgarian. If it were mine I would be doing a lot of Googling. Rob

I did some quick googling Regimentals has one the same but knackered for over a grand! but no markings, Stewarts had one that was marked and there are lots of others without marks. So yours is probably all good. Rob

It looks fine to me; that's exactly the marking you want to see. I have a Pilots helmet exactly like it in my collection but mine has a little darker grey color finish to it but that doesn't concern me at all. 100% Original IMO I'd definitely bid on it if I was looking for one. (y)

Mine came with the Pilots fur glove that also has the same Flg.BekL Döberitz stamp marking inside which means in English that they were issued and approved by the Flight Clothing Depo and Pilots training Center in Döberitz which is in west Berlin.

Döberitz was one of the largest Military training schools in Germany and in use for hundreds of years. In 1910 they opened the Airfield and Pilots Training facilities at Döberitz which was the first in Germany and actually there began the foundation of the German Airforce. (please don't show this info to the fakers) They'll start reproducing the stamp and it will be everywhere especially on refurbished NSKK Helmets :ROFLMAO:(n)

If I was looking for a Pilots helmet, I would definitely look for one with the Döberitz markings just because of the wonderful History from all the Training that went on there over the hundreds of years. IMO It just adds to the History and pedigree of it all. (y)

Hello. This one is definitely a good one. I made this one in black, exactly the same stamps, so no worries. By the way, I have my eye on it too, so there will be bidding for this one. Then I’ll have all 3 types of this type of aviator helmet.

Good day everyone, yes clearly I went for a fair price, but because I already own 2, I didn't bid, so let's hope the buyer here is someone.
