Question- did the men assigned to Staff Guards wear a special uniform yet the uniform of their regiment?

Hi Charles, the men assigned to the Staff Guards wore the uniform of their regiment .

Doug, my favorite is the Prussian Staff Guards for General Headquarters with the blue enamel center.

That one is very striking. I think I like the Prussian Staff Guards Officer the best but what’s not to like with all 4? Very beautiful pieces, my compliments!

Holy cow that's a glorious ensemble Dennis! What sort of mannequin do you use? It's perfect, with the cap mount and all.

I would like to know as well, the ones I use I have to usually cut down to size as they are too large for the uniforms and cuirass, as well I get a custom cap mount made for the helmet.

That said, a fantastic ensemble, the quality and condition are 1A!

Thx Dennis I went and checked them out, that must be your own piece of black felt at the top above the neck as the only one I see that I think would be correct is a flesh coloured muscular form?

Doug, yes, I added the black felt piece, it is flesh colored, this is the description from their website.

Yup that’s the one thx. Unfortunately it won’t work for just a cuirass / helmet display without a uniform to hide all the muscles. But that’s ok I’ll just cut down the form I have for it as I’ve done in the past thanks.

Hi Dennis,

Wow, absolutely stunning, beautiful, super-rare Ringkragen, congratulations!

Your mannequin display Officer of the Prussian Staff Guards looks fabulous!

Thanks for sharing these images here!

Best Wishes,

Alan
