This particular helmet has the spike. The kokarden were missing as well. I didn't see any other markings in the liner or the crown of the interior although it might of been stamped before. There is an area that looks to be roughted up (scraped) on the opposite side of the neck guard. The...
I tried to find this stamp in multiple places but no luck. Perhaps some of you can help identify this unit stamp. Ersatz? This is from a M1915 issue helmet.

I also know where I'll be next year. That is simply an awesome museum. I have only had the furtune of visiting Czech and Italian military museums. Sadowa is a nice little Austro-Prussian War museum if anybody is every in Czech Republic.

I was hoping someone could help me figure out this sun helmet. Is it WW1 or WW2? The markings are almost faded and hard to read. I have nothing else to go on. Thanks
