    Hi Ken, Welcome to the Forum. It looks to me that the bolt is still in the head of the eagle and the crown has broken off. Can you carefully unscrew it?? Bill

    Joe Your spelling was correct. I just was reading about a helmet of Kaiser Wilhelm's with the crown monogram. The helmet maker was "Naumann" as listed by Bowman on Pg.251 of Vol I. I do believe that Bowman has another typo. Surprise, Surprise. Bill
