Yes, you should check the history of AR43. Some regiment histories explains clearly that they took helmets from others BA. For instance, RIR 234 took pickelhauben fron Guard, Pionnier and even police.

Hello The marking 36LJR is fort Landwehr Infanterie Regiment 36 which II and III Bataillon were raised from soldiers coming from JR 153. So il is logical ! But the helmet of JR 153 comes from Sachsen Altenburg. Are you sure fort the date ? I read 1910 which is more coherent with the transfert...
