There is another seller out of the UK selling extremely similar cockades, listed as original, and they just all happen to be from desirable states!

Any of these old pattern Pickelhaubes, regardless of country, are worthy of collecting and preservation. Beautiful! My wife, who is part Swedish, would love it.

What I find truly remarkable is how well these genuine Filzhelms take back their form after being steamed/soaked. Even this example, which seems to have spent time in a basement or a barn, is already coming back to life. I can't wait to see the final result!
