Bummer! I don't know if I would attempt to solder it. There are a lot of good epoxies that are easy to use. You might want to use a small hand-held-hobby drill and make a small hole on the top of the lid and the bottom of the figure. Then use a section of "cutdown" paperclip and glue it into...
