I was stationed on the USCGC Mackinaw WAGB-83 home-ported in Cheboygan MI. Spent a lot of winters there breaking ice for underpowered liners and such. Lots of beautiful cities and such. Great ports of call. I have fond memories. Now the Mackinaw WAGB-83 is a museum ship in Mackinaw city.
