I've seen similar done in various size shells, but never with Pickelhaube parts or such a fine job in braiding. Often the cap brim is a separate cut or bent forward. Cool piece!

Another I recently found. I am unsure of all the nomenclature. The plume is red and white, as opposed to some I've seen with the complete national colors of red, white, and blue. Any and all information and opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards, John
