The kartusche-bandolier is also named - by this time Heinrich Schack is an unteroffizier.

The waffenrock is also private purchase. It dates from sometime after May 18 1896 when the Regiment was awarded its cypher. I have attached a close up of the shoulder strap for the shoulder strap collectors. I also attach a picture of a waffenrock I owned for about 30 years but ended up...

Here it is with another private purchase 2 GDR helm. The second helmet has all em fittings.

The Pickelhaube is a private purchase example, named to Gefreiter Schack of the 2nd Squadron. It recently crossed the Atlantic for minor repairs by our resident Pickelhaube whisperer, who also brought back to life a somewhat dishevelled Garde Fusilier Regiment Pickelhaube.

It’s been a while since my last (also first) post in this section. Here we have an enlisted man in the 2 Garde Dragoner Regiment.
