I have similar one but on mine the fiber visors are sewn on the felt body instead on the use of rivets

Not yet have come up with a plousible explanation for it but in my opnion ,those cardboard or papier mache helmets are far to weak to not have the counterdisc on the inside . the splitpins can rip out so easely ,the counterdisc is there to prevent this in the first place . when they where...
