Any fellow members here who enjoy a good Bier ?

Discovered König Pilsner while in Potsdam earlier this year. Radelberger is one of my favorites when in the east. Just came back from 10 days in the Mosel River region where Bitburger is my favorite. 🍻

    New show in Germany

There is a new show in Germany being organized for the last weekend in March 2024. It's a collaborative effort between Helmut Weitze and Krey (who used to run the Waffenbörse Kassel shows).

    The Kaiser’s Prize (Kaiserschiessabzeichen)

Picked up another Kaiserliche Marine uniform with a KM pattern artillery Kaiserabzeichen. This one also has the larger wool oval found on the KM variant. Nice "C.E.Juncker" marked piece.

Landes Gendarmerie. Every one I have seen marked "LG" has had a Garde star.

    Model 1879 Reichsrevolver

What load do you use? I have .44 Russian brass, .429 cast bullets, and was going to try a load of 17 grains of 2F.

    Model 1879 Reichsrevolver

Nice set! Congrats! I think M79s and their holsters are indeed fascinating because of the story they can tell. The "EWB" marked ones are very tough to find, and I passed (though I regret it now) on the one example I came across.

Dragoner Regiment 11 mod. 1860 pickelhaube - untouched condition

I saw this M1860 before, I think on a FB group. Great Pickelhaube!! Like I have told you on WAF, you have great items! I have a 1868-dated Dragoner cartridge pouch and bandolier also marked to the 11th Dragoner Regiment.

    Kube Auction

A friend of mine was present, and he pays very well for TR items. He told me he was "blown out of the water" on everything!!! I tend not to look at auctions. I much prefer networking and shows...

Looking for book Iron Cross 1813 - 187 - 1914 The History and Significance of a Medal by Frank Wernitz English edition 2013 Verlag Militaria

Abe Books is the best place to search when they are available. Will not be cheap however. Even Steve's book is crazy expensive, but I would save that $$ for Dr. Wernitz's books.

It's my favorite city, have been there several times, and will soon again visit. So, just curious if any members live there.
